Outlaw Craft Fair is back, with our next event being held on Saturday 1st November in Penzance.  If you make unique artisan products then we’d love to hear from you.

We want Outlaw to be different and inspiring, so we are inviting talented makers to take part in another exciting event. Outlaw is a fabulous boutique shopping experience with demonstrations, workshops, live music and tasty food served in our pop-up deli and this time we are also looking for a few select foodie producers to complete our offering.

We’ve also taken past exhibitor feedback onboard and have arranged improved cash facilities, new venue flooring and better exhibitor signage to name but a few.

Our ethos is to get our visitors involved in all things crafty by showing them how to tackle new projects or just to inspire them to take their existing work to a new level. Outlaw is not your usual craft fair!

Who we’re looking for and how we review the applications

To make Outlaw an awesome event we have to ensure we select only the very best artisan makers to exhibit. As we receive many more applications than we have spaces we look at every application very carefully and use the following criteria to make our decision.

  • Your products are made or designed by you and are produced either by hand or in a small scale production method.
  • We are looking for unique and innovative products which are different from other exhibitors and offer our visitors a wide choice and keep Outlaw fresh.
  • If you are a foodie producer we can only accept the makers of artisan pre-packaged products.
  • If you make items in a popular genre eg jewellery or textiles, the competition is fierce and your items need to have a specific point of difference.
  • Your products and exhibition space are beautifully presented. So make sure the pictures you submit show your products at their best!
  • We want to create an affordable shopping experience for all our visitors so we are looking for makers to have a range of goods on sale with values typically between £1 and £150.
  • Unfortunately, Outlaw isn’t the event for fine art or high end fashion.

Standard Space: 2m wide x 1.8m deep – £45 (payable on confirmation of your application)

Double Space: 4m wide x 1.8m deep – £80 (payable on confirmation of your application)

What we’ll do for you

Our ethos at Outlaw is to support our incredibly talented makers and producers. Our last event attracted over 1100 visitors and this time we want to increase that figure to 1400, this offers you a great opportunity to showcase your products to a targeted, local audience.

We are investing heavily in marketing Outlaw with leaflets, posters, newspaper advertising, PR and social media.  We had significant PR coverage in The Cornishman, Cornwall Today and Crafts Beautiful magazines for our first event and we intend to widen this for our previous events.

Every exhibitor will be listed on our website including a summary of your products, a photo and a link directly to your website. This offers visitors a great opportunity to find out about you before the fair even begins. In the run up to our last fair the website received 3200 visits and almost 11,000 page views.

We will actively post about our makers products and business on our social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. We also post a spotlight feature about selected makers on our blog.

You will be listed in our programme given out to every visitor on the day. This means that any visitor can look up after the event.

We will have wifi access at the event enabling you to use your own mobile payment facilities to process card payments. If you don’t have this facility already we suggest you investigate Paypal Here, Intuit Pay or Payleven.

We love our exhibitors and try to make exhibiting at an Outlaw as much fun and as easy as possible.  So we give you unlimited free tea and coffee and there is easy access for loading and unloading and free parking!

Many of our previous exhibitors received trade enquiries directly as a result of exhibiting at Outlaw and at this event we will be specifically inviting local retails to come along. There is also the incredible networking opportunity on offer with other high quality makers at the fair. We hope you’re impressed – why not apply?

How to Apply

Complete the application form below and submit before 14th June. We will consider each application carefully and will notify you on 21st June  as to whether we can offer you a place or not.

Do use the best photos you can to show off your products and do include one of a previous event if you have one, as this will help us to get a full picture of who you are and what you make.

If your application is successful your place will be confirmed on receipt of your stand fee which is payable within 7 days via BACs.
